nakapanood ako ng binibining pilipinas 2008 nung isang gabi. kasama ang kapatid ko. siyempre, inaabangan ko talaga sa mga ganyang pageants na yan e.. yung question and answer portion. gusto kong mapanood kung paano ipahiya ng ibang contestants ang mga sarili nila. gaya nito: (tulakan pa kami ng kapatid ko nyan sa kakatawa sabay paulit ulit na sabing.. "SHEEET.. SHEET SHEEEET! SHEEEET! WATEVEER?") NYAHAHAHA.

JANINA SAN MIGUEL: im fine.

PAOLO: alright, so you won two of the major awards - best in long gown, best in swimsuit, do you feel any pressure right now?

JANINA: no, i dont feel any pressure right now.

PAOLO: confident! alright! please choose a name of the judge.
PAOLO: we have.. miss vivian tan.

VIVIAN TAN: good evening.

JANINA: good evening.

VIVIAN: the question is, what role did your family play to you as candidate to binibining pilipinas?

JANINA: well, my familys role for me, is so important because there was the wa- theyre, they was the one, whooos (nanginginig) very.. haha! oh im so sorry, ahmm.. my pamili.. my family.. oh my god.. im.. ok, im so sorry.. i.. i told you that im so confident.. eto. ahmm. wait.. hahahahaha! ahmm.. sorry guys because this was really my pirst pageant ever because im only 17 years old and hahaha! i, i did not expect that i came from.. i came from one of the tof ten. hmmm, so.. but i said, that, my family is the most important persons in my life. thank you.

oo nga pala. nanalo siyang binibining pilipinas 2008 - miss world. yan si janina san miguel. tandaan nyo pangalan nyan! grrr. leche. pano nangyari yun.

hindi kaya gusto siyang ipapatay ng mga kasama niyang candidates na naka abot ng top 10? tsk. napakawalang kwenta na. kung sino pa yung nakasagot ng maaayos, sila pa yung walang napanalunan o mas mababang award pa ang nakuha. daya! daya!

Pagbabalik ng Kwago

masaya ako nung friday.
august 11.
muli akong nakabalik sa pinakamamahal kong skul.
ang UE!

akala ko nga, hindi pa matutuloy ang isa sa mga pangarap ni bi-ep pati na rin ang bandmates niya na makatugtog sa UE. pare-pareho silang graduate ng Pamantasan ng Silangan. yung iba naman, mga taga FEU. pati ang inyong lingkod, high school grad ako ng UE. i lab UE! hehe.

ayaw payagan si bi-ep ng pinsan niyang umalis ng bahay dahil me lagnat siya. pero sa katigasan ng ulo at sa pangarap na makatugtog sa UE, tumuloy pa rin siya.

3pm ang tapos ng klase ko. tamang tama, 3-9pm ang acquaintance party ng freshmen. sinundo niya ako at sabay sabay na kaming pumasok sa UE papuntang backstage. may ilan akong nakitang former classmates! at yun din ang ilan sa mga dahilan kung bakit ako masaya. yey. nakita ko sila katrina, charme, jm, eugene, jerille, kathleen, joanna at iba pang kaybigan at kakilala sa school.

pang 11 na banda pa raw tutugtog sila bi-ep. kaya hintay hintay muna. nagpakitang gilas ang mga UE Drama Company, UE Dance Troupe at ang UE Chorale! ang galing talaga nila. kaya hindi imposible na nagkamal sila ng ibat ibang awards na galing pa sa mga competitions nila sa ibat ibang bansa.

wee! kakilig panoorin ni bi-ep sa ibabaw ng entablado. ang kyot kyot niya. bigay na bigay. partida. me lagnat pa yun! *kilig* hehe. kaya salamat kay bisoy ng "Karatula"(kung nasan ka man ngayong lupalop ng pilipinas) sa pagkakataong binigay mo para makatugtog sila. yey.

hinintay na rin namin makapag perform ang kasama naming bandang "Orgasm Addicts". matagal ko na silang gusto mapanood ng live. eto mga kuha kong walang kwenta. pfft.





sabi sa amin ng isang kakila sa UE, isa siyang student officer, Urbandub, Sandwich at Protein Shake daw ang mga naimbitahan. pero sa kasamaang palad, nabago. naging... Slapshock, 6 Cycle Mind at Protein Shake! EEEKK!! puro mga... kaya di na talaga namin tinapos. at sana rin, si heart evangelista na lang ang host at hindi si karel marquez. YOU KNOW.. i lab chinitas! hehe. mga 8:30 lumabas na kami at kumain na lang muna sa McDo sa tabi ng UE. bago mag 10pm nasa bahay na kami kasama si bi-ep. sa min muna siya matutulog! yey. labyu.

Akin na ang Payong Mo!

isa na siguro sa mga libangan ko tuwing umuulan o may bagyo ay ang kainggitan ang payong mo. katulad na lang kanina, kay sayang tingnan ang ibat ibang disenyo, itsura, kulay, laki, hugis atbp ng payong na dala dala ng mga kasabay kong naglalakad kanina sa mendiola at legarda. samantalang ang akin, isang dark brown umbrella at isang litrato ng bear lang na may nakasulat na "bear with us.." ngok.

nakakuha kami ng perfect sa written report na ipinasa ko kay sir antonio. umabot ako ng 55 pages. pinaghirapan ko naman talaga. kaya masaya ako at nagustuhan ni sir ang gawa ko.

pero, ngayon. may bagong problema..

kailangan ng grupo i-present ito using microsoft powerpoint sa klase. suot pa ang corporate attire na isa sa mga ayaw na ayaw kong gawin sa school. lalo na sa klase habang nag re report. dahil mahiyain ako. hehe. pero nagsimula lang talaga yun pagtungtong ko ng college. makapal muka ko noong high school lalo na nung elementary. sabak ako sa mga plays. sali sa choir. sa school clubs and organizations. walang takot na humaharap tuwing may individual reporting.

pinahaba ko pa!

ang grupo namin ay mag pi present ng tungkol sa Ayala Corporation! lintek. ewan ko ba kung bakit ito pa ang napili ko. ang Ayala Corp. ay isang parent corporation. masyadong komplikado. malaking korporasyon ang pinasok ko. dinamay ko pa tuloy groupmates ko. hehe. wala nakong magagawa. nabasa at na-check na ng prof ko. wala na talagang atrasan to. sana lang ay bigyan kami ng sapat na oras para makapag prepare ng maayos.

isipin niyo na lang, july 11, 2006 ngayon.

gusto ko lang ipaalam sa inyo na.. sobrang busy ako ngayon sa dami ng trabaho sa school. kaya minsan na lang muna ko makakapag update ng blog ko. pero hindi ibig sabihin nun ay diko man lang nagagawang dumalaw dito. halos araw araw din naman ay online ako. kaya madalas ko pa talagang natitingnan ang tabulas ko.

yun nga lang, hindi sapat yung mga oras na yun para mag kwento sa inyo. nakapuslit lang ako ngayon, matapos ang nakakasakit ng ulo at likod na case study. kasama na ang mga pagre-review bilang paghahanda sa mga chapter quizzes sa mga subjects ko.

Soul singer Taylor Hicks wins "American Idol"

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Gray-haired soul singer Taylor Hicks won the 2006 "American Idol" contest on Wednesday, capturing the hearts and votes of millions of viewers in the fifth edition of America's top-rated TV show.

Hicks, 29, who was told in auditions that he was too gray to be a pop star, beat balladeer Katharine McPhee in the climax of a nationwide contest that attracted tens of thousands of wannabe performers.

"Thank you America! I'm living the American Dream," screamed Hicks at the end of the show.

The winner was announced at the end of a star-studded finale at Hollywood's Kodak Theater featuring performances by Prince, Dionne Warwick, Mary J. Blige, Burt Bacharach, Toni Braxton and Meat Loaf.

Alabama native Hicks, beloved for his manic dancing, is the oldest "American Idol" winner in the reality TV series that has become a ratings juggernaut attracting some 30 million viewers a week since January.

Once derided as a cheesy talent show, "Idol" has steadily gained credibility in the industry, turning out a Grammy winning performer in
Kelly Clarkson while past winners and runners-up have sold more than 33 million records.

At the Country Music Awards on Tuesday, former "American Idol" champ Carrie Underwood was named top new female vocalist, and also won the single record of the year honor for "Jesus Take the Wheel."

The fifth season of "American Idol" saw the wannabe stars collaborating with icons like
Stevie Wonder and
Rod Stewart while Prince gave a surprise performance.

Harmonica playing Hicks, who spent years singing in local nightclubs, wins a coveted recording contract and will release his first single in the next few days.

"I didn't have any idea that Americans would embrace gray hair as much as they have," Hicks said backstage, thanking his fans. He said he planned to make "an album with soul. It's going to have a lot of feeling."

McPhee, 22, a sultry Los Angeles musical theater performer, was deemed by the three-person judging panel to have one of the best vocal talents in "American Idol" history.

But viewers chose the charismatic Hicks, whose fans call themselves the "Soul Patrol." Program officials said more than 63 million votes were sent in by phone or text but they did not give a breakdown.

Backstage McPhee said she had not expected to win but would be releasing a single anyway. "I don't need sad faces or anyone to feel bad for me. I have got a record deal, pretty much. It wasn't about winning the title, I just wanted to give the best performance I could," she said.

With a style that mixes
Joe Cocker with Ray Charles, Hicks was a consistent favorite with viewers despite some acerbic comments from judge Simon Cowell, who said one of his performances was like "a drunken father singing at a wedding."

The fifth season of "American Idol" proved the most successful ever, forcing rival TV networks to reschedule their programs to avoid competition. The show returns for a sixth series in January.

yahoo!! panahon palang noong audition, siya na ang american idol ko. mula sa auditon, hanggang sa pumasa siya at pumuntang hollywood. hanggang nag parang bulaklak silang unti unitng nalagas ang mga talulot. hanggang mapili na ang kakatawan sa top 24 to top 12. nang maging last 5 na lang.. hanggang naiwan na lang silang dalawa ni katharine.. siya lang ang nag iisang idol ko. kaya naman, ang saya saya ko nang siya ang manalo! yey. bibili ako ng album niya! hehe. soul patrol!!
